About Mary Teresa Kane, IBVM:
Sr. Mary Teresa Kane, IBVM, is a teacher, chaplain, artist, and writer with degrees from the University of Toronto and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her background in both the humanities and fine arts informs her creative and spiritual approach to education and ministry.

Passionate about social justice, she has spent years advocating for the dignity and inclusion of marginalized, particularly the Indigenous peoples in her community.   Residing in central Canada, she draws inspiration from the vast landscapes and diverse cultures around her, using her artistic and pastoral work to promote inclusion, reconciliation, and understanding. Through education, ministry, and the arts, she continues to inspire others with her compassion and dedication. 

About Jean Okroi, IBVM:
Residing in Chicago, Illinois, Sr. Jean has dedicated 66 years to religious life and ministry.  Her early service included roles as a teacher, parish pastoral minister, and founder of the IBVM Development Office.  She has held significant leadership positions, including roles in IBVM Regional and General Leadership and served as Executive Director of the Intercommunity Retirement Network in Chicago.   Deeply committed to justice, she has been an advocate against human trafficking for over 23 years, founding Illinois Women Religious Against Human Trafficking to raise awareness and drive change.  Known for her conviction, vision, and innovative spirit, Sr. Jean embraces challenges as opportunities for transformation and lives with intensity, freedom, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

About Johanna Schulenburg, CJ:
Sr. Johanna Schulenburg, CJ, was born in Germany and now resides in Vienna, Austria. A member of Congregatio Jesu since 2004, she holds degrees in law and theology.   She is a trained retreat leader and spiritual counsellor. In 2009, she became a founding member of the Contemplation in Action initiative, which integrates spirituality with active engagement in the world.  Currently, Sr. Johanna serves atKardinal König Haus in Vienna, specializing in spiritual accompaniment, retreat guidance, and formation.  As Director of the European Novitiate, she provides guidance and support to novices, helping them navigate their journey of discernment.   Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, Sr. Johanna has devoted her ministry to helping others recognize the presence of God in all thingsand embrace the divine spark within.
