About Fr. John Dardis, SJ (click to expand)
Fr. John Dardis, SJ, is a Jesuit priest from Ireland who has served as the General Counsellor for Discernment and Apostolic Planning of the Society of Jesus in Rome since 2017.
He holds a Master’s degree in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University, New York, as well as an STL in Moral Theology and an M.Div from the University of Toronto.
His previous leadership roles include President of the Conference of Jesuit Provincials in Europe (2010–2016), Irish Jesuit Provincial (2004–2010), Regional Director of JRS-Europe, Communications Director for the Archdiocese of Dublin, and Director of the Jesuit Communication Centre in Dublin.
A recognized expert in discernment and leadership, Fr. Dardis has led hundreds of workshops and retreats, offering spiritual direction, accompaniment, and guidance in decision-making.
