Eric Brown is a dedicated Relationship Banker with more than 20 years of experience in sales and finance. He began his career in the automotive industry and he witnessed firsthand how a lack of financial education—particularly in underserved communities—often left individuals misinformed, overcharged, or vulnerable to unfair practices.
Motivated to make a difference, Eric transitioned into banking, where he focuses on financial empowerment and advocacy. He partners with community organizations and works directly with individuals to provide practical financial literacy education, helping people build confidence, make informed decisions, and create long-term financial stability.
Known for his welcoming presence at his local community bank, Eric maintains an open-door approach—especially valued by many elderly customers who appreciate his patience, guidance, and accessibility.
Eric believes that true impact begins with service. As Muhammad Ali once said, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.” This principle continues to guide both his professional work and his commitment to the community.
Michael Laurent is an educator, counselor, and minister who has served diverse communities throughout his professional career. He completed his training at Loyola University Chicago, where he also served on the University Ministry team, working with both undergraduate and graduate students.
Mike is a licensed professional counselor and currently serves as an elementary school counselor in Longmont, Colorado. In this role, he develops and teaches social-emotional learning, helps foster a positive school culture, provides administrative support, and connects families with important community resources.
Outside of his professional life, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Anji, and their two daughters. He also coaches youth sports, works on a socially responsible investing practice, and loves exploring the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains with family and friends.
Andy Wells has been married to his beloved wife, Peggy, for nearly 41 years. Together they have two married sons who remain central to their lives. Andy was raised in Chicago and its western suburbs. His faith journey has been shaped by Baptist and Methodist communities, while his primary education took place in Lutheran schools. He attended Wheaton North High School and later the College of DuPage.
Andy has long been active in community and service organizations. During his time with the Wheaton Rotary Club, he served as volunteer coordinator when the club launched its recycling program, later becoming Community Service Chair and eventually President. He has also served as a youth group leader at Gary Methodist Church when his sons were involved, as Vice President of the DuPage Youth Symphony, and on numerous committees supporting local organizations.
Andy has known members of the United States Congregation of Jesus for 46 years and has worked with and for the sisters for 35 years. Today, in addition to helping oversee matters related to the sisters’ property, he serves as the U.S. Region’s Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation Coordinator. He is also proud to have been a U.S. CJ Companion for the past eight years.
