About Sarah Rudolph, CJ (click to expand)
Sr. Sarah Rudolph, born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, joined the Congregation of Jesus (Loretto Sisters) in Toronto, Ontario in 2014. She currently resides in New York City where she serves as the Main Representative for the congregation’s NGO to the United Nations. Sr. Sarah is passionate about social justice and Ignatian spirituality, seeking to find God in all aspects of life, even in public policy. Prior to her role at the UN, Sr. Sarah served as the Director of the Mary Ward Centre in Toronto and then as its Social Justice Animator, focusing on bringing the voices of young people into decision-making spaces. She also led retreats and offered spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition. Before joining the Loretto Sisters, she worked in the Canadian federal government on social policy, particularly related to child and maternal health and children’s rights. In all that she does, she desires to respond to God’s invitation to co-create a world where all people and the planet may flourish.
